BOOK  STUDY

Our six week DVD study of Craig Groeschel’s book, The Christian Atheist, will be held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 pm.  It is not necessary to read the book to participate in the class, although it is helpful. You can purchase the book form the church office for $10.50; it is also available in book stores at a list price of $14.99.

Renovation of the Heart: Putting on the Character of Christ

Please join Pastor Mary Ellen beginning on Thursday night January 12, 2012 at 7 PM for a DVD book study on Dallas Willard’s book, Renovation of the Heart: Putting On the Character of Christ. The topics from the book will be presented in a DVD series and is designed to help Christians develop inward Christ likeness by studying what Scripture says about the character of Christ. So, there is no requirement to purchase Dallas’ book – you certainly can if you want to do so – but please bring your Bibles. Although this is a 13-week series and it would be most beneficial to view it in its entirety, you may join us when you are able. The plan is to meet on Thursday nights at 7 PM through the second week of March.

Our January discussion topic will  be the Trinity. What does it mean to have a three-in-one-God? What is the scriptural basis for our understanding of the triune God? Do the Father, Son and Holy Spirit each have specific and different roles? If so, what are they?

Plan to join us on Monday, January 23, at 7:00 PM.

We will be having discussion groups about once a moth to talk about whatever topics you may be struggling with or have questions about.  Please talk to Pastor Kathy if you have a particular issue that you would like to see discussed.
