.OPPORTUNITIES FOR BIBLE STUDY AND FELLOWSHIP

We have a number of great educational opportunities going at Bethany. I would encourage all of you to participate in something to grow your faith.

SUNDAY BIBLE STUDIES

8:00 AM The Men’s Bible study continues on the book of Job; they meet in the Fellowship Room and enjoy great fellowship as they learn. Study guides are available on the table in the Fellowship Room.

The women meet in the nursery to study Paul’s Letter to the Romans and, . according to the men, they have more fun. Join us as we get to know God better through His written Word—enjoying lots of fun and laughter as we do so. The men make coffee for all of us. Study guides are available on the table in the nursery.

11:00 AM Basic Christianity—a small group curriculum for parents of Sunday School students and anyone else who would like a refresher course on the foundational topic of who God is and why it matters. Grab a cup of coffee and join us in the Fellowship Room at 10:45 beginning.

TUESDAY

10:00 AM Women’s Prayer Group meets in the Fellowship Room; we usually pray until about noon—and then often go out for lunch together!

THURSDAY

8:30 AM Join the regional Prayer Group as we pray for our churches, our region, our country, and for whatever else the Holy Spirit calls on us to pray for. At this time, the group is made up of people from McCallsburg and Zearing, with four area clergy participating, but we hope it will grow to include a much larger area. In November we will meet at Bethany Lutheran in McCallsburg.

9:00 AM Be a part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry that meets each week at the Coffee Pot.  If you knit or crochet, or if you’d like to learn how, join us on Thursday’s .  You won’t want to miss being a part of this group!
