PRAYER FOR OUR NATION continues to be held every Monday evening at 5:30 PM (Please note time change).  Join us as we pray for God to work in powerful ways to heal our nation and our world.

RIVERSIDE BIBLE CAMP ANNUAL MEETING will be held at 2:30 this afternoon in the camp’s Dining Hall.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ANDREW & HOLLY BECKER on the birth of a 6 lb. 15 oz. son, Trey James Becker, born February 18th. Grandparents are Bob Becker and Jackie Becker-O’Leary.

BREAD MINISTRY HOURS on Wednesday’s are now 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

CONFIRMATION/LUTHER LEAGUE RETREAT to the 2020 LCMC Regional Youth Event will be March 6th-8th. The gathering is collecting hygiene items to be given to homeless families in Monroe County, Wisconsin. Items needed: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, combs, lotion, razors, shaving cream, dental floss, etc.

We will also be gathering items for the LaCrosse Warming Center, a place for the homeless to get out of the cold. Items needed are warm hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, socks, etc.

If you’d like to donate any of these items for our students to take with them, please bring them to church by next Sunday.

A PRAYER RETREAT WILL BE HELD MARCH 20th-21st at Rock River Retreat Center for anyone wanting to learn more about prayer, and grow in your ability to hear God. This overnight guided prayer retreat will be an opportunity to go deeper in your relationship with God. Please talk to Pastor Kathy for more information or to register.

CONTEMPLATIVE PATHWAY WORKSHOP will be held at Bethany on Saturday, April 25th. This 2-1/2 hour workshop will provide training in a variety of types of prayer and in practices such as journaling and imaginative Bible mediation. No one will be required to pray out loud. Please talk to Pastor Kathy to register.

GUITAR LESSONS WILL BE HELD on the second and fourth Sunday’s of each month immediately following Sunday School.

OUR DAYCARE IS LOOKING FOR PART-TIME STAFF: Especially needed are afternoon workers, who can help from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.

OUR DAYCARE IS SEEKING A NEW DIRECTOR: Applications are available for pickup at the daycare (with option of facility tour) OR contact the Church at 515-434-2082 to express your interest.

CONFERENCE ROOM SIGN-UP: Our Conference Room is in high demand on Sunday mornings, so we’re asking you to sign up in the church office if you plan to use that room for a meeting or class to avoid conflicts. Reservations will be on a first come, first serve basis.

THURSDAY MORNING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY continues at 10:00 AM on Thursday mornings. We are currently exploring a 5 week DVD study by Kyle Idleman called “Don’t Give Up,” based on Hebrews 11 and 12. All women of the congregation are invited to join us at 10:00 am on Thursday mornings. Come and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another.

SUNDAY NIGHT MEN also welcome men to join them for Bible Study at 7:00 PM on Sunday evenings.

SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER MINISTERS will gather in the Fellowship Room for a time of prayer following our worship service this morning. If you are presently involved in our prayer ministry, or if you would like to be, join us. Anyone in need of prayer is encouraged to come and receive.

ASH WEDNESDAY WORSHIP WITH HOLY COMMUNION & IMPOSITION OF ASHES: 7:00 pm, Wednesday, February 26th.

PANCAKE SUPPER served by the Lions from 4:30 – 6:30 PM on Ash Wednesday, February 26th, in the Fellowship Hall. Free will offering will be collected.

WEDNESDAY EVENING LENTEN SERVICES WILL CONTINUE in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, March 4th.

WINGS OF REFUGE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN continues; donations may be made payable to Bethany. Our goal is $4,000.00. To date, we have collected $3,605.00.

ALUMINUM CAN TABS continue to be collected. Tabs go to the Rochester, Minnesota, Ronald McDonald House, where they benefit the families of seriously ill children hospitalized at Mayo.
